Anna Digges Ludwig

Anna Digges Ludwig, age 89, passed away at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD on November 29, 2017. 

She was born in 1928 to Carson Eubanks and Lottie E. (nee Tyler) Eubanks in Laurel, MD.  She was an active member of the First Assembly of God.  Anna worked for the U.S. Treausry Department for a year before moving to the U.S.D.A. for 30 years before retiring.

Anna enjoyed fishing (including deep sea), shopping, antiquing and singing in the choir. 

She is surviced by her two sons, John H. Digges (wife Sharon)of Martinsburg, WV. and Larry D. Digges ( wife Charlotte) of Keedysville, MD.  Anna is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by both her parents and two husbands, John T. Digges in 1977 and Urban W. Ludwig in 2005.  She was also predeceased by two sisters; Madalyn Jones, Mary Doris Eubanks, a brother, William Eubanks and a grandson, John H. Digges. 

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in the Chapel of the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing until the service begins at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow the funeral ceremony at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery in Bladensburg, MD.
