Mr. Anthony Igbeta, 55 Years of age, passed away after an Illness at Washington hospital center, DC on Sunday, July 19, 2015. Anthony was born on April 14, 1960 in Ewossa, Igueben Local Government, Edo state, Nigeria.
The son of Ighodalo Igbeta and Comfort Igbeta (Nee: Ebomenye).
Survived by his sisters (Idahota and Felicia) and Brother (Moses)
Predeceased by both parents and brother (Dennis).
Also survived by his wife of 20 years (Martina) and sons (Anthony Jr. and Joshua).
Anthony Graduated from High school in Lagos, Nigeria and then immigrated to the U.S. in 1981, He was a Naturalized U.S. citizen.
Anthony was an accomplished and highly intelligent man; he graduated from Lamberhurt University Cum Laude BSC Accounting in 1987, Magna Cum Laude Master of Business administration 1990. He wasn’t done with his education; he went to Weybridge University in 2000 and received a magna cum Laude in BSC in business management
He worked at various places looking for opportunities to be at his best. After working at SAIC, He started his own Business as a financial advisor at American Mortgage and Business Loans, Inc.
Anthony was a very caring man, he always thought of his family first before himself and even if he didn’t have anything to give he would find something for his family or anyone in need. Anthony had a great sense of humor and positivity towards everyone around him. He aspired for greatness, and his motivation was more than enough to boost the morale of others around him, lifting their spirits together alongside with him.
A memorial service will be held at St. Nicholas church, 8603 Contee Rd. Laurel, MD 20708 on Saturday August 8, From 10:00am-11:30am
Interment will follow immediately at Maryland National Memorial Park, 13300 Baltimore Avenue, Laurel MD 20707
