Elnora “Pootsie” Wheeler, 95 of Savage passed away on Wednesday July 29, 2015. She was born on November 25, 1919 in Maryland to William and Elizabeth (Davidson) Wheeler, Jr.
Pootsie lived in Savage all her life, in the same house she grew up in with her two brothers, Harvey and Ralph. She worked as a cafeteria worker at Savage Elementary and Whiskey Bottom Elementary Schools for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed watching T.V. especially WWE.
She is survived by many loving friends and preceded in death by her parents and brothers.
Funeral services will be held Monday August 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Savage United Methodist Church with visitation from 10:00 until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Savage Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Savage United Methodist Church in her honor.
