Just learned today of Elvin's passing. He graduated with my brother-in-law, Gail Bratton, 1951. I guess he saw my name on FB and we started sending Christmas Cards. I was so pleased he remember a younger "classmate" . You will be in our prayers, Alice.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It hurts so much to lose someone you love to death. I hope that the promises in the book of Isaiah can serve as an encouragement. Isaiah 33:24 promises that one day, no one will say that they are sick. Isaiah 25:8 goes further in promising that death will be swallowed up forever. As you reflect on this promise, it is my hope that you draw comfort from what God will do.
