We have so many wonderful memories of our dear friend Rick. We shared so much with him and his lovely fiancΓ©e Valerie. They had a true, deep and enduring love. They were always laughing and were truly devoted to each other. Valerie took great and loving care of Rick and really enriched his life. Mike really enjoyed his specialty drink, the "Rick Special." Rick & Mike were "car guys" and enjoyed talking about their vehicles. The car community is very saddened. My father, Fred, really enjoyed spending time with his Navy buddy. We love and will miss Rick. Fly high on your way to Heaven. God bless and RIP "The Ice Cream Man."

We all adored Rick and I am so so sad he is no longer with us. He brought so much joy to so many of us, whether it was his terrible yet hilarious jokes, the smiles he brought to people's face as he cruised the streets of Maryland in the ice cream truck, or the way he adored my Mum. He was just a great guy and I think anyone who had the pleasure of even a moment with him will know how much he is going to be missed. I know he is already onto his next adventure, but he will always be in our hearts! <3

Rick you will be missed by many people. One person in particular will miss you more than anyone else.

You met my wonderful mother, Valerie, when you were teenagers. 50 years later you started a relationship together. She was by your side through thick and thin neither of you stopped caring for each other, even when times became challenging. The love you had for each other never faltered no matter the adversity you both faced. Valerie's memories of how amazing you were will never be forgotten. Rick, watch over this amazing women as I know she will be looking up to you.

Rajen and Jennifer,

Beautiful sentiments. Your Mom brought kindness, love, caring, joy and laughter, the best things in life to my brother Rick. I will always be grateful to her.

While we did not come to know Rick until later in life we were moved in seeing he was such a good and kind man. We are grateful to Rick as he brought much joy and love into the life of our sister, Valerie. May you all find comfort at this time of great loss.
"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

Sincerely,

Farewell Clark Gable, you will be missed. I hope as you went through the Pearly Gates you wiggled your butt and shook your leg at us down here. We had a lot of good times at the "25" and beyond. You and Susan were a great couple and two of my best friends. Give here a hug from me. Morgan, Brian and Lizzy, I wish we had stayed closer over these years, I miss and love all of you so much.

Morgan and Liz, I'm sorry for your loss, and my thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. I'm hopeful your dad has found peace now and that you can take some comfort in the fact that he is no longer suffering.

Dear Morgan, Brian and Elizabeth,
We're so sorry for your loss. Uncle Rick was a great guy and someone I always looked up to. I enjoyed talking to him about planes, cars and the Navy and was always astounded by his ability to take an old junker and restore it into a beautiful machine. He is loved and will be missed!

Love, Bill & Regina
