Gloria Boccheciamp

“Good & Faithful Servant”

Gloria Boccheciamp was a good and faith servant her entire life. Growing up in New York she attended Jackson Heights Seventh day Adventist Church. Even has a young girl God was in control of her life she shared countless stories where He intervened. One such story was when she and another family member were getting on the subway (while living in New York) and her leg got caught in the door. She shared that she believed an angel allowed the door to re-open so her leg was not crushed. Her life was dedicated to God’s work she taught in primary and junior divisions, active choir member, assisted starting branch worship services at with Takoma Park 7th Day Adventist Church. While in New York she also worked for Faith for Today and later years before retirement was working at Home Study International in Takoma Park Maryland.

She was born on August 1, 1923 in Brooklyn New York. Gloria was oldest daughter of 4 children (who preceded her in death Rubin, Ethel & Elias). In the late 1960’s she relocated to Takoma Park Maryland since her mother’s health was ailing.

Prior to her death she lived at HCR Manor Care Health Nursing & Rehabilitation in Silver Spring for 7 years   where she was given kind and loving care. This past Tuesday she went to sleep in Jesus.

In Matthew 25:23 in the story of the Parable of the talents the Master said “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful…enter into the joy of the Lord.
