Mrs. Le Goff was born on Sept. 24, 1932, in Borger, Texas. She was the valedictorian of her senior class at Landon High School in Jacksonville, Fla.

She worked as an administrative assistant at Squibb Corporation in New York City in the 1950s, where she also was a member of the Billy Graham Crusade. She also learned sign language and helped teach deaf children in the 1970s.

Mrs. Le Goff went back to school and earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Maryland. After teaching, she worked as an administrative assistant at the American Pharmacists Association and in the audiology department at Gallaudet University, both in Washington, D.C., before retiring. She also enjoyed working numerous Saturdays for years at her daughter’s pharmacy, The Medicine Shoppe, in Elkton.

Mrs. Le Goff served on the boards and committees of the Hammond Park Stingrays summer swim team, Central Maryland Swim League and Maryland Swimming in the 1970s-80s.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and David Mitchell of Elkton; a son and daughter-in-law, Yves E. and Angie Le Goff of Noblesville, Ind.; a son Marc Le Goff of Silver Spring; a son James Le Goff of Scaggsville; three grandsons, Garrett Le Goff of Texas, Owen Le Goff of Indiana and James Michael Le Goff of Scaggsville; a great-granddaughter, Luna Mae Le Goff, of Indiana; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews in Georgia and in France.
