Jerry Glenn Keller, of Laurel, age 72, passed away June 29th, 2017.
He was born October 8th, 1944 to Rev. Orville Glenn and Dorothy A. Keller in Huntington, WV.
He graduated from Huntington East High School and attended Marshall University. He proudly served his country in the US Army, was a Merchant Marine, and retired from technology contract work with the Navy. After retiring, he continued his computer programming work, served as President of the Maryland Bridge Association, achieving the title of Diamond Life Master, and was an instructor for the game he loved. In addition to bridge, Jerry enjoyed gaming, cruising around the world, and was a voracious listener to and reader of novels of every genre.
He is survived by his loving sister Marijane Kiley, her husband Richard, and their children Richard and Jonathan and his twin brother Terry Keller, his wife Cheryl, and their children Erica and Jason as well as several great-nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Dorothy and his beloved wife Jane Thurman.
A memorial service will be held at the Laurel Bridge Club (Iglesia Cristian Maranatha Chruch), 8564-A Laureldale Drive, Laurel MD 20724, on July 22, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00pm.
Jerry and Jane will be interred together in Huntington, WV at a date to be determined.
