John was the first person I would see when I entered Weis. He was always so nice, helpful, and funny. When I had not seen him for so long I assumed he was sent to another Weis location to train them because he was such a great role model. Always thought he was a manager because he was so customer service friendly. I went into Weis today and saw the message of his passing. Almost cried right there. Every Weis should be so lucky to have an employee like John. A very kind soul. RIP.

My sincerest condolences. I met John at the Weis and he was my favorite. He is very missed and at some point, the huge hole blown in your hearts will begin to turn into a sanctuary of memories and feelings. It will become a place of thought and comfort. Until then, please be gentle with yourselves. John was cherished.

Well John, you were laid to rest yesterday, it was a very sad day for family and friends. Losing a child is never easy, I can only imagine, It doesn't matter the age it is the most devastating experience a parent can face. When your mom and dad lost you they both lost a piece of themselves. You never think that you will outlive your child. I know that you already know this but, you are very much loved by both of them. I'm sorry that you and Michael didn't have more time to become closer. I can tell you that he was very sad. I can tell that you were a very nice and likeable guy, not to mention your great taste in Basketball and Football teams. I'm also a Tarheel fan and I like the panthers a lot also, just not to crazy about Cam Newton don't get me wrong panthers are pretty good, but Cam is a little to cocky for me. I will think of you every time that they play, and if they win I will know that you had a hand in that. After reading the Condolences I had come to the conclusion that you were a very well liked guy. Everyone said such nice things about you. You will be missed that is for sure. John, know that the love that your parents have for you is more powerful than death. Your souls are forever tied together, and there's nothing that can break them, not even death. When you Believe beyond what you can see.. signs from Heaven show up to remind you Love never dies. Rest In Peace John..

Thinking of your family and loved ones at this difficult time. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Faith and Sarah- Your dad was such a kind man and it was obvious how proud of you he always was! He was so nice to your teachers, too- sharing the Room Parent job when Faith was in my first grade class at BBES when many other families were unable to take on that role. Sending peace to your family.

I was saddened to hear of John's passing today. I met John in 2015 when I moved to Savage and started shopping at Weis. The first time we spoke it was because I wore Duke gear into the store. Anyone who knows him knows he'd have something to say about that! But that conversation started a rapport. From then on we would chat or banter any time I visited the store...about college basketball or the weather, eventually about my pregnancy, and then when I brought my daughter with me after her birth we talked about her. He made me feel like a friend and I will sincerely miss seeing him each week. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I had the pleasure of meeting Johnny B many years ago when he first came to work @ the Weis in Savage. It did not take long for him to become one of my favorite people. Johnny B was a total sweetheart- a lovely person with the best sense of humor. He kept me in stitches and could easily lift me out of a bad mood with a joke or a smart remark. This world will not be the same without him. He was truly a one of a kind person. I am thankful to God for the opportunity to have met him and be his friend. My family and I offer our sincerest condolences to Johnny B's family. May God grant you His strength, comfort and peace in the days ahead☺❤.

I moved to Four Seasons in 1977. I'm not quite sure the exact year I met John, but we were young. We hung out on the corners till dusk and shot bumper pool and walked to 7-11 . Times changed and years went by but it always seemed like only a day went by when we did run into each other. I last saw him at our friends Susan's passing and looking forward to seeing him again at Chris for a reunion kinda. I'm gonna miss him. He was a wonderful good hearted man
