Kathleen A. Miller

Kathleen Adeline Miller, a longtime resident of the Laurel/Savage area, passed away on July 2, 2017 at her home in Laurel.  She was 94.  Kathleen was born on January 10, 1923 to the late Charles and Pearl Riley and lived in Savage, MD with her five siblings. She attended school in Savage and later went to work at Savage Mill in the weaving room until she met her husband, Thomas.  They moved to Laurel and began their family.  Kathleen was a homemaker raising four children. She enjoyed singing her favorite hymns, spending time at their beach house in South Bethany Beach, and preparing meals for her large family-especially Sundays and holidays. She was a very active member in her church, First Assembly of God in Laurel.  She is loved by all.

Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband of 75 years Thomas Miller, Sr.; loving children Judith Lyon and her husband Lou, Janice Bradsher and her husband Curt, Tom Miller, Jr. and his wife Darlene, and Susan Miller and her husband Charles Reeder; devoted grandchildren: Steve and Deanne Lyon, Tom and Tim Miller, David and Brian Bradsher, and Chris and Nick Boswell; and great-grandchildren: Sarah, Andrew, T.J, Brittney, Austin, Garrett, Ruth, Sam, Lydia, Ethan, James, Adeline, and soon to arrive, Ryan.
