Lee Ann Weber, a resident of Laurel, MD passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
Lee Ann was born on September 4, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio to Verna Lee Frye and the late Harvey Unger. As a child Lee Ann moved around the country a lot because her father was a jockey. The family eventually settled in the Maryland City section of Laurel while Lee Ann was in Elementary School. Lee Ann ultimately graduated from Meade High School in the mid 1970’s. After high school Lee Ann worked as the Hostess/Manager for Roy Rogers in College Park, MD. Lee Ann eventually found a job with the Maryland Jockey Club working at Laurel Park Race Course. She was employed as an office manager and tour guide, giving tours of the facility to visitors.
Lee Ann loved to dance and studied dance at Howard Community College after high school. She carried her love of dance into her adult life and loved to watch “So You Think You Can Dance”.
Lee Ann is survived by husband, Alfred Letle, her sons, Eric Weber and Daniel (and his wife Brianne) Weber, her grandchildren; Austin Weber, Avery Weber, Emma Weber and Rowan Weber. Lee Ann is also survived by her mother Verna Lee Frye.
