LeeAnn Marie Piteleski of Catonsville, MD passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 23 while on holiday in the UK.  She is survived by her mother, Charlotte H. Piteleski; brothers Richard Piteleski and wife Elizabeth, Jim Piteleski and wife Nancy; nephews Justin J. Piteleski, Stewart Piteleski and wife Jenn, Brody Piteleski, and Justin D. Piteleski; and uncle Dan Piteleski and wife Lorena.  She is predeceased by her father William Piteleski and sister Patricia Piteleski Leeker.

LeeAnn was a graduate of Laurel High School class of 1985, and Principia College of Elsa, IL class of 1989.  She was an impassioned woman; a daughter, sister, friend, leader, mentor, and colleague who never did anything half way.  She poured her heart and soul into everything she held dear and undertook.  She gave nearly 30 years of service to her country in federal service, knowing every day her contributions made a difference on the global stage.  Her rescue cats were always endearingly known as her four-legged children.  Fiercely loyal to her friends, she considered them a part of her family, and was always planning events and finding ways to spend time together.  She enjoyed both modern and classic movies, as well as a wide variety of music ranging from heavy metal to classic rock, depending upon her mood.  She had a fondness for performance and muscle cars; the Ford Mustang in particular.  Each season would usher in her new trio of hair highlights, and a coordinating wardrobe.  She was a connoisseur of good food, great wines, and only the best chocolates (dark, not milk).  An avid traveler, she loved learning about and experiencing new places.  She befittingly passed away in England, her adoptive home where she had planned to someday retire.

A service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, December, 10th, 2016 at the Donaldson Funeral Home on 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home for a donation that the family has yet to determine.
