Marian Frentz, 63, of Laurel MD was called home in the early morning hours on January 21, 2018. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and a great friend to many. She was best known for sharing her love of the Lord with all those she met. She will be dearly missed.
Marian was born on May 26, 1954 to Wilton and Rosemarie Laque in Baltimore.
She was an active member of St. Mary of the Mills where she had taught Confirmation classes and actively encouraged weekly Eucharistic adoration. Eleven years ago, she founded a Catholic women’s group called the TASTE Program (Taste And See, Take Eat) hosted at St. Mary’s and Pallotti High School, where she brought in nationally known speakers weekly to teach and celebrate the beauty of the Catholic faith to women from over 65 parishes. She absolutely loved her work and lit up when sharing her faith.
Marian enjoyed simple pleasures such as playing games, spending time with her grandchildren, and nurturing all those around her. She was filled with joy and had a beautiful vibrance for life.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; Daughters, Chrissy, Cathy (Brian) Siegel, Suzanne (Matt) Grenier, and Diana (Tony) Knox; Grandchildren, Ali Grenier and Aubrey Knox; Mother, Rosemarie Laque; Siblings, Michelle Johnson, Yvonne and Larry Laque.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilton Laque.
