Mary Josephine Minnick, a longtime resident of Laurel, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. She was 90.
Mary Jo was born on October 3, 1927 in Eckhart, MD to the late Joseph F. Schreiber and Clara Regina (Condry) Schreiber. She graduated from Saints Peter and Paul Ursuline Academy in Cumberland, MD in 1945. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Poland parish in Silver Spring. Mary Jo loved her family, friends, and pets. She enjoyed square dancing and taking cruises. She worked as an accountant for various companies and retired in the early 1990s.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter D. Minnick, and is survived by loving daughters Carol Ann Skinner and her husband Richmond and Karen Lynn Huguley and her husband Robert.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 3-7 PM at DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 10 AM at Our Lady Queen of Poland, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
