Priscilla Vereneau, 89, of Laurel, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019.
She was born April 6, 1930, to Edouard and Simonne Neault of Biddeford, Maine.
Priscilla retired as a mortgage loan processor and prior to that enjoyed many years as a real estate agent. She had many interests and hobbies that included painting, needlepoint, gardening and was an avid reader and experienced seamstress. During her lifetime she gave back to the community by participating in civic organizations, such as the Laurel Senior Friendship Club and the Women's Auxillary of the Knights of Columbus Council 2809.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her three children, Colette (Bill) Wood, Michelle (Robert) Eichinger and Edward Vereneau; her grandchildren Justin and Kaitlyn Wood, Rachel Goodman and Timothy Eichinger; two sisters, Constance (Roland) Dubois and Lucette (Phillip) Pellerin, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jean Paul Vereneau and her sister Gilberte Roy.
A memorial visitation service will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019, from 5-8pm.
A traditional Catholic funeral will follow in Priscilla’s hometown of Biddeford, Maine in August, 2019. Please contact the family for details.
