Randall “Ron” Klutts was a kind, honorable gentleman with a huge heart.  He was a loving husband to Mary for 51 wonderful years. A special place in his heart was reserved for his cousin Meg and her children, Greg, James, Erin and Brian, and a close family friend, Karen. He also was a loving brother to his many siblings, especially Rhonda, and an uncle to his nieces and nephews in Tennessee and Nebraska.

Ron was a retired U.S. Marine gunnery sergeant who was very proud to have served his country.  He was an exceptional leader who inspired and guided many cadets at M.M.A. to recognize their full potential, as is evidenced by the glowing tributes posted in his honor.

Ron spent many happy hours communicating with his Facebook family and friends.  He loved dogs, especially Scotties and Yorkies, and was known as the “Baby Whisperer,” because of his uncanny ability to soothe a baby.  Ron enjoyed family gatherings, golfing, and fishing.   We will miss his kindness, drool humor, and his love for all of us.

“If the Army and the Navy ever look on Heaven’s scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines.”

Semper fi!

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations in memory of Ron to either www.WoundedWarriorProject.org or www.heart.org.
