Stacie M. Richards

Stacie Richards, a lifelong resident of Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2018 at the age of 46.

Stacie dedicated multiple years of her life working in the field of education for Anne Arundel County Public Schools.  In 2005, she received her Master’s degree in Literacy  from Loyola college.  While working within the classroom, Stacie was honored by receiving the Teacher of the Year award. She later worked within the business office at the Center of Applied Technology-North, where she found joy in interacting with both students and faculty.  She was a hard-working and dedicated employee and took pride in her profession.    

On December 7, 2001 Stacie was united in marriage to Troy Richards. They welcomed their beautiful daughter Emma into the world on February 9, 2004. Stacie was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies, shopping with her daughter and loved frequenting local restaurants. 

Stacie is survived by her husband of 16 years, Troy Richards and her daughter Emma;  parents, Patricia Adams (nee Toomey) and Tom Adams; brothers Nate Adams (wife Melissa) and Joe Adams (wife Selina); and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.  She is also survived by her life-long best friend Charla Wilds.   

Visitation will be on January 27, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
