I only recently learned of Sunny's passing, so sad to lose such a special person. Sunny was always so inspirational to me; positive, happy, warm, forgiving.

Sunny's name was perfect for her personality and her awesome keyboard gifts. I was also a member of A Cappella choir at Harding and admired her ability to play a piano to pieces. She also had a beautiful soprano voice. The world will miss her, but the legacy she leaves in the people she taught to play will live on...making music forever. God bless her friends and family during this sad journey.

I am so sorry for loss. As you reflect on the moments you shared together, I encourage you to think deeply about the hope at Acts 24:15 which assures us that there is going to be a resurrection!! Visualizing seeing her again in harmony with this unfailing promise can have a healing effect. May you draw comfort from this loving provision from our loving Almighty God.

Dear David,

I'm so sorry you've lost your precious Sunny. She truly was a special lady. Due to a sprained ankle and doctors orders, I m not able to come and pay my respects in person and it breaks my heart. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sincerely,

Cheryl

To David and family, saddened greatly at the passing of Sunny. As a deep lover of music, particularly organ music and that of the church I am so heartened by what Sunny has provided to the world. She has contributed so much. I remember her with fondness at LOS. Ben Straus, a member of the Central Maryland Chorale

I would like to express my deepest and heartfelt condolences to the family of Sunny Helms. I am truly sorry for the lost that your family is feeling. Experiencing the loss of a beloved family member, is one of the hardest things that any of us can go through. And because of that, my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Take comfort in knowing that God never intended for us to deal with sickness or death. But have assurance in the wonderful promise that God holds out to us. He promises each of us that very soon, he is going to reunite us back with all those loved ones we have lost. (John 5:28,29) Until that time, cherish all the wonderful memories that you have of Mrs. Sunny. These precious memories will console the family in the day ahead.
