Thomas Jefferson Hatfield, Jr., a Laurel resident for 38 years passed away on June 27, 2015 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. He was 75. He was born on June 11, 1940 to the late Thomas Jefferson Hatfield, Sr. and Lassie Jane Hatfield in Kentucky. He was an avid bowler and a big fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, and part of Big Blue Nation. He served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Giant Food as a Deli Manager after 30 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Sandra K. Hatfield; loving son Thomas Jefferson Hatfield, III and his wife Susan, grandchildren Taylor, T.J., and Buster; and brother Phillip Hatfield. He is also survived by a host of loving family and friends and his dog Friskie.
