William Eugene Burton Sr, 88, passed away Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 very peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness.
He was predeceased by his eldest daughter, Linda. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Naomi, four sons, William jr, Douglas, Russell, and Robert and a daughter Donna Simms, three sisters, Eleanor Acklin, Delores Grauel, Nancy Sweeney, as well as 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He retired from the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission in 1977 after 33 years of service. He resided in Laurel Md, Easton Md, and Prince Frederick Md. His beloved daughter, Linda, will finally be layed to rest by his side at this time.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday March 27, 2017 at Union Cemetery, Burtonsville, MD.
