Wilma Dolores Duck, a lifelong resident of Laurel, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Howard County General Hospital. She was 84. Known as Dolores to most, she was born on October 8, 1932 in Beltsville, MD to the late Wyatt W. and Glenna Mae (Barnes) Goad. Dolores retired as Vice-President from Laurel Building Association after 35 years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Savage and the Ladies Golf Club in Paint Branch for many years. She also enjoyed traveling and walking.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son Terry Duck and sister Annabelle O’Brien. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years Gilbert Duck; loving son Bryan Duck; grandchildren Melissa Renee Duck, Thomas Bryan Duck (Beth), and Bradley Eugene Duck; great-granddaughter Rebecca Ann Marie Duck; and siblings Alvin Goad, Oscar Earl Goad, and Jean Elsie Hardesty; and a host of other relatives and friends.
