Dearest Harry and Mark,

Much time has passed since I last made contact with you. I'm sorry for losing touch with the busyness of life. And, I'm even more sorry to learn Angela passed away. I'm not sure if you know, but I lost my Dad a few months ago. It was after his passing that I learned about Angela.

I hope you both have strength in each other and your memories. I truly loved Angela and admired her love for horses and helping others.

Harry, I'm still in Maryland and if you are up for the occasion of meeting, I'd love to meet and just reconnect.

Angela was and will always be a bright star through her love and legacy.

Arlene

Dear Family of Dr. Brodie, My career at the UMB Sch. of Medicine lasted for more than 30 years, and I was blessed to meet and interact with Dr. Brodie often over those years. I though of her as a phenomenal woman, and she truly will be missed. God bless and keep you all. Thank you for sharing her. Sincerely Yvonne,

Harry, I was saddened to hear about Angela and express my sincere condolence to you and your family. Having suddenly lost my wife four years ago, I understand your loss all to well. I felt prillaged to know you and Angela. She was a major innovator in steroid biochemistry and cancer biology. Now, thousands of women, including my wife, have to be thankful to the small group of scientists which pursued the Aromatase science in the 1980's & 1990's. Angela was a unique leader of the science. God bless you and your family. -- J. O'Neal Johnston, Ph.D.

I was very sorry to hear of Angela's passing. Harry was my first boss at the NIH, and I can still recall Angela's lovely voice on the phone when she called to speak with him. We had some nice conversations. My deepest condolences to the Brodie family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Angela at Bucks Haven Farm. She was a delight to be around. She and her horse Blue had a very special bond. They were perfect for each other. I never went on a trail ride with her, but other women at the barn did and they would have a great time. Angela was a pillar of strength, humble, encouraging and very caring. She will be missed terribly. My heart is sad for your devastating loss.

Thank you, Donaldson Funeral Home, for adding my mother's favorite piece, "Claire De Lune" by Debussy, to this website! It makes it very personal.

I love you mom. You raised me to be a good, caring person, who thinks about others, as you did. I can only hope to achieve a fraction of your good work. Mark.
