Deirdre Gregory

Deirdre (Dee) Christine Gregory, 84, of Laurel, MD, earned her wings December 21, 2019 after a struggle with Multiple Myeloma cancer. She was a 16 year breast cancer survivor. Born in 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA to Thomas and Hildegard Vickers. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gerald Gregory. She is also survived by her children, Kathy Brister (Jim), Linda Malcolm (Van), Gerald Gregory(Susan), Richard Gregory, Jackie Kelly (Shawn), Chrissy Deeds (Mike) and Glen Gregory. Also survived by grandchildren Carrie Gregory, Briana Brister, Van Malcolm (Laura), Kristiana Brister, Eric Malcolm (Kelly), Patrice Benjamin (Mike), Christian Kelly, Shannon Kelly, Alison Deeds, Drew Deeds, Trevor Deeds as well as step grandchildren Also survived by great grandchildren: Savannah Waters (Mike), Carly Gregory, Rhiannon Bassett, Tristan Archie, Ezra Kiker and Eden Malcolm as well as step great grand children. She is also survived by too many friends to name. She was predeceased by her great grandson Jason. Dee enjoyed her family, traveling, painting and music. She loved meeting new people and making sure everyone was having fun. She loved walking with friends. She was known to break out dancing at anytime of day or night. She retired from John Hopkins Applied Physics Lab. Viewing Services will be held at Donaldson’s Funeral Home, Laurel, MD on December 29th, from 1:00-4:00pm with funeral at 3:00pm.
