Dolores Jane Rager

Dolores Rager, 88 years old of Hyattsville, Maryland passed away on June 26, 2019. She was born in 1930 to Raymond and Viola (Boland) Brummert of South Fork, PA.  Dolores is survived by daughter Janice Hendricks, son Steven Rager and his wife Debby, daughter-in-law Bernadette Rager, grandson Jason Rager and his wife Marlowe, and granddaughter Allison Rager. She is also survived by sister Marlene Lumb, brother Russell Brummert and wife Brenda, brother Terry Brummert and wife Cindy, sister-in-law Betty Brummert as well as many other family members that knew her and loved her.  She was preceded in death by husband Sanford Jay Rager, son Gregory Rager, sister Joan Brummert, brother David Brummert, and son-in-law Charles Hendricks.  Dolores was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time at home with family.  She was a longtime member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Riverdale, MD.

Family and friends will be welcomed to Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue Laurel, Maryland 20707 on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 6-8 PM, a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church, Laurel, MD on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11 AM followed by burial at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
