Doris Samson Obituary

Doris Emma Samson, 96, a long-time resident of Buzzards Bay, MA, passed away on Monday, November 11, at her daughter’s home in Laurel, MD.

She was born April 10, 1923, in Bourne, MA, to the late Giles and Fanny (Perry) Landers.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Francis “Sam,” and her sister, Barbara Hersey. She is survived by her two children, Linda Crossley (Eric) of Laurel, MD; and James Samson (Sherri) of Plymouth, MA; as well as 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Doris enjoyed cooking, reading, and gardening and loved spending time with her family. She will be missed deeply and thought of often.
