I am shocked to learn of Ed's passing. He was the sound designer on my production of 'Harvey' that I directed at 1st Stage. He worked tirelessly on the show and often gave me a late ride home during tech and previews because my car was being worked on. He was a special soul and we bonded. I will miss him. Love to his family.

Dear Emily,
Bryan and I are so sad for your sudden loss. Ed was at our house frequently and it is so strange to know that he will not be on the doorstep again toting his music and recording equipment. I can only imagine what you and your daughter are going through, but wanted to let you know that if we can help in any way, we are here for you.
Sadly,
Joy Cornell

Emily,
So sorry for your enormous lost.
Ed was a big help on the Friend's sound system. He obviously had a heart of gold to go along with his quiet competence.
It has been an honor volunteering with you on our projects and I look forward to continuing our good work.
Mike

Emily, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear husband. I wish there was more I could do, but I'm wrapping you and your daughter in wings of love and healing. I'm also remembering the little red-headed girl who lived up the street from me. I'm sending love to you as that little girl, too. May there be warmth and lovely reminders on all levels.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Ed on my first DC stage managing gig at American Century Theater. on The Country Girl. He was a good friend and always helpful to a frazzled newbie. His gentle soul will be truly missed.

I remember shortly after my credit card number was stolen and our bank account was temporarily frozen, Ed walked up to me with a bashful smile and said, "Hey man, if you need a loan or anything to get you through the next week, just let me know. I've got enough money and not a lot to do with it. So just let me know." I first worked with Ed back at American Century, and he frequently worked as a sound tech on shows at Adventure, including our most recent production of How I Became A Pirate. This man knew how to make theater sound gooooood. Future audiences will be at a loss without Ed.
