Eva Elizabeth Rice, a longtime resident of Laurel, passed away on October 26, 2017 at Howard County General Hospital. She was 94. She was born on July 13, 1923 in Gamber, MD to the late Herman Alfred and Martha Pearl Ward. She was a member of the Eastern Star and a charter member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Howard L. Rice and son Roland E. Rice. She is survived by her loving son Charles H. Rice and his wife Karen L. Rice; granddaughter Charlene Rice–Tutko and her husband Peter; and sisters Doris Bowman and Alice Ingram.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 2-4& 6-8 pm at DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707. Interment will be private.
