Henry Baldwin, age 83 of Laurel, MD passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019.
He was born in 1935 to Rodner and Theresa (Lammers) Baldwin in Laurel, MD.
Henry was a member of St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church (Laurel, MD), and Knights of Columbus (Bowie, MD).
He retired from Patuxent Wildlife Research Center of the US Fish and Wildlife Service, Department of the Interior.
He enjoyed volunteering at Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, fishing, working on the farm, doing odd jobs, including hauling with his dump truck, and spending time with his wife and daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren. Henry never met a stranger, and was always there with a fun story to tell!
He is survived by his wife Margaret, daughters Cindy (Josh) Fox, Nancy (Brian) Sasser, Angie (Jonathan) Wright, grandchildren William, Charles, and Patrick Fox; Sean, Marissa, and Tanya Sasser. Also survived by sisters Mary Spencer and Janet Baldwin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jerome, Francis, Phillip, John, George, Paul, and his sisters Martha Carr, Dolores Baldwin, and Mildred Baldwin.
Visitation will be on Sunday July 7, 2019 from 2-4pm and from 6-8pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707.
Funeral Mass will be on Monday July 8, 2019 at 11am at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church in Laurel.
