James Robert "Bobby" Thomas

James Robert “Bobby” Thomas, passed on January 28, 2019, at Gilchrist Hospice at 83 years old, beside his wife Ann Thomas and family.

On April 2nd, 1935 Bobby was born at home on Spruce Street in Laurel, Maryland. He graduated from Laurel High school in 1956, then served in the U.S. Airforce. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Financial Administration from Southeastern University, and eventually went on to earn a Master’s degree. Business was his work, but his real love was aviation. He flew, built, and inspected small aircrafts. Bobby was a member of numerous organizations and highly regarded in the community.

He was the son of Fred and Alma Thomas, along with his first brother Fred Thomas Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife Ann Thomas and brother Joe. His daughter Ginger Brown and grand-daughter’s Victoria and Morgan Brown.

May he rest in peace with his daughter Nancy.
