Jody Faith Tebay

Jody Faith Tebay, a life long resident of Laurel, MD, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving friends. She was 56 years old. Jody was born on February 10, 1962 in Lynchburg, VA, and was the daughter of the late Jack and Joan Tebay. Jody was a 1980 graduate of Laurel Senior High School and a 1984 graduate of UMBC, where she earned a BS degree in Computer Science. Jody work for several contractors in the area over the course of her career. Jody had many creative hobbies, such as needlework, crochet, and jewelry making  that she used to bless others. Over the past few years she volunteered as a legal surrogate to ensure that the educational needs of several special needs children were met. Jody  enjoyed spending time with her friends and going out for good food. She also enjoyed caring for her beloved cats.

A private memorial service is being planned. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
