John (Jack) E. Fowler, 59 of Jessup passed away May 3, 2018.
He was born in 1958 to William Ray Fowler and Margaret Thomas Fowler in Bethesda, Maryland. He attended St. Mary’s Elementary, Pallotti High School (’76) and University of Maryland (’80).
Jack was a member of Laurel Elks Lodge, American Legion, and VFW Auxillary. Jack was also an Eagle Scout Troop 1250.
He was employed at AEX in Hanover. He enjoyed playing with his granddaughter, Natalie, cooking breakfast for some or many, times spent at the beach, volunteering, hanging and joking with loving friends (and strangers) and riding his Harley.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Underwood Fowler, son James Fowler (Sharlene), daughter Amy Fowler; Marie’s children: Terry Welsh, Jr. and Jessica Welsh; granddaughter: Natalie Fowler; brothers: Tom Fowler and Chuck Fowler; sisters: Catherine Matus, Tere Fowler, Beth Weant (John), Peggy Winkeler (Chris) and very loved nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Fowler, brother, Michael Fowler and nephew, Jude Fowler.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church in Laurel, MD on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Memorial Service will immediately follow at BPOE Laurel Lodge #2283, 8261 Brock Bridge Rd, Laurel, MD 20724
