Kenneth Frazier, better known as Kenny, of Manchester, MD passed away quietly at home on Tuesday June 5, 2018. Kenny was born July 18, 1951 in Laurel, MD the fifth of 6 children, to James Ralph and Beatrice Frazier. Kenny attended Atholton High school, leaving school the last semester of his senior year to help take care of his family. He earned his GED in the early 80's. In 1970 he was drafted in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict. While in California, preparing to leave for Vietnam, Kenny purchased wedding rings for his high school sweetheart, Connie (Christian) Frazier. They married January 13, 1973 and were married for over 45 years. In 1974 he welcomed his first child Kelly (Frazier) Crews and in 1984 his son Christopher Frazier. Kenny spent is lifetime in service to others, helping anyone who needed it around him. He devoted his life to his family and the Lord. Kenny retired from the Department of Defense in May 2016, where he was a Cryptologic Materials Handler at Ft Meade and was spending retirement on yard work, yard sales and supporting his 7 grand kids in their academic and sports activities. Kenny loved classic cars, the Baltimore Orioles and was a proud veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Ralph and Beatrice Frazier; sister Phyllis "Susie" Jefferies; brothers Lester "Brove" and Jeffrey Frazier. He is survived by his loving wife Connie (Christian) Frazier; daughter Kelly (Frazier) Crews; son Christopher Frazier; daughter in law Courtney (Brooks) Frazier; 7 grandchildren Robert, Stephen and Kaitlyn Crews; Xander Cater; Kaden, Presley and Johnny Frazier. He is also survived by his sister Maxine "Sis" Hobbs and brother James Frazier and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Kenny's love of life, family and the Lord will be greatly missed. His kind soul and joyous laughter were incomparable. We will miss you greatly POP.
