Larry Donaghue, 64 of Alexandria Virginia passed away December 31st, 2018
He was born in 1954 to Hugh and Claire Donaghue.
At the time of his passing, he was entering his 28th year as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
When not working Larry enjoyed trips to his local pub, Theismann's of Alexandria. He was a long-suffering fan of the Washington Redskins, a boxing enthusiast and an all-round sports fan. He greatest passion, though, was Civil War history and the visiting of the sites of those great battles.
He is survived by his daughter Molly, his son Thomas and wife Julie, his son Shawn and his wife Lindsay and their daughter Evelyn, his Father Hugh and his mother Claire, his brothers Brian, his brother David and his family, as well as his fiancé Coco.
A short memorial service will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home, 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel, MD 20707 on Saturday January 5 at 1pm directly followed by an open memorial lasting until 4pm.
