Lawrence Bruce Dawes, 88 of Laurel passed away Dec 10, 2018

Larry was born in 1930 to Lawrence Edward Dawes and Gertrude Golden in Pittsburgh, PA

Larry graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, PA. He also graduated from Mount St. Mary’s University in 1953. He was a member of St. Mary’s Parrish and a Veteran of the US Army.

Larry was employed by Triangle Pacific for 33 years and retired in 1996.

He loved spending time with family and friends at the beach. He was an avid golfer and was a huge fan of the Washington Redskins, Washington Nationals and the Maryland Terrapins. 

Larry is survived by his wife Nancy (Weigand) Dawes, son Larry Dawes (wife Carrie), daughters Debbie Kilpe (husband Dave), Cindy Renehan (husband John), sons Dan Dawes (wife Susan), Brian Dawes (wife Sherry) and 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Robert Dawes and wife Marie.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday December 15th, 12:30 at St Mary’s of the Mills Laurel.
