My deepest sympathies on your loss. It is obvious that Sarah was well loved and her passing has left many deeply saddened. Please take comfort in knowing that you do not grieve alone (Psalm 34:18). The bible promises of a time when no no one will ever grieve again, lost loved ones will be restored to life and the righteous will live on the earth forever (Rev 21:4; John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:29). I hope that you can find comfort now through the love that surrounds you and in the wonderful promises for the future.

Dear Bo, Mr. Hensley, Mr. Hensley & Melissa,

Sarah always had a genuine smile, great sense of humor and was friends with everyone in our class. I remember meeting her at Laurel and I was immediately at ease talking with her. I was very shy-and she just grabbed my arm and said "come on!" and took me to the cafeteria and introduced me to a bunch of kids at the lunch table. She was just like that- effortlessly moving through the crowd helping those (me) who she spotted on the perimeter who needed a little encouragement. I was a better person for meeting her - I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I cannot think of any words to adequately express my sadness for you all. Sarah was a beautiful girl in every sense of the word. God bless.

To the family: We are greatly saddened and are heartily sorry for the loss of sweet Sarah. I spent most of my gradeschool years seeing Sarah everyday all the way up through graduation at Laurel High. I can always remember her bright smile she wore more often than not. God must have needed her to brighten his kingdom. May he cover you with comfort and provide you with strength to endure. Sending love your way now. Love, The Burns Family, Sean, Sheila & Shamel.

Family of Sarah Elizabeth Hensley Battle - Sorry to hear about your loss. We have a hope in Jesus that we will see our dead loved ones again. As John 11:25 says, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." Since these are his own words and he provided a glimpse as to what will happen in the future to us by resurrecting his dear friend Lazarus back to life on earth. So if we die, we have a wonderful hope of a resurrection. I hope this will provide much comfort in your time of bereavement.

I hope the following video can bring you and your family some comfort.
