A great friend of many years to all my family, one that I thought of as a sister of the heart. Shirley was so kind to my mother through the years and we shared many fun times together. She will be missed. Prayers to Al, Stacy and family.

Sorry to hear about your loss. We have a hope in Jesus that we will see our dead loved ones again. As John 11:25 says, "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." Since these are his own words and he provided a glimpse as to what will happen in the future to us by resurrecting his dear friend Lazarus back to life on earth. So if we die, we have a wonderful hope of a resurrection. I hope this will provide much comfort in your time of bereavement.
