Barbara passed away on August 18, 2015 at 66 years of age.
Barbara Jean, as many called her, was born on August 6, 1949 in Hampton, VA to her parents, Robert and Elois Garrow. She graduated from Phoenix High School in 1967 and went on to attend Hampton University. She married her “Jolly” - Thomas Aaron Jolly - on August 8, 1970 and they shared a very inspirational 45 year marriage.
Mrs. Jolly excelled as an Office Manager for the Association of Supervisory and Administrative Personnel for many years. She had an intense love for her family, and did everything she could to inspire creativity and compassion in them.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Thomas; father, Robert Garrow; daughters: Tanika Mance (Roderick); Erin Hill (Warren); Robin Daniels (Anthony), and son, Andre Jolly. Also surviving is her step-daughter, Lynn Mason (Daniel). She has also left to cherish her memory 11 grandchildren: Ardamio Barner, Brittany Mance, Tatiana Mason, Iyana Mason, Lauryn Daniels, Michelle Hill, Jessica Daniels, Briana Jolly, Cameron Mance, McKayla Hill, and Anthony Daniels Jr. Barbara also leaves a host of extended family and friends to treasure her memory. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elois Garrow.
