On October 14, 2013, Albert C. Cherer, beloved son of Michael J Cherer Jr and the late Wanda Cherer. Dear brother of Stephen (Katherine), John (Jennifer), and Mary. Friend to many. He held degrees in History and Spanish. He loved history. He was extremely well-versed on the Civil War and WWWII. He was a gifted writer and avid reader. He collected stamps. He loved painting and drawing. He enjoyed building and painting plastic airplane, military models, and figures. He played the guitar, banjo, and dobro. He loved animals. He loved baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Visitation Wednesday, October 23, 10 am - 11 am, followed by celebration of funeral mass at 11 am at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, Laurel, Maryland. Interment at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Laurel, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a children's charity of one's choice.
