Alberta Yvette Salenieks

Alberta Yvette Salenieks of Laurel passed away on March 3, 2016 at the age of 71.  She was born July 27, 1944 in Johnstown, PA.  Alberta lived a simple life and had a passion for taking care of her family.  She was the beloved wife, of 50 years, to Laimons Salenieks; devoted mother of Patty Phoebus of Delaware, Karl Salenieks of Annapolis, MD, Brian Salenieks of Eldersberg, MD, Walter Salenieks of Elkridge, MD, Erik Salenieks of Laurel, MD, and Andrew Salenieks of Laurel, MD.  Alberta is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation was held in the Chapel at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707 on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., at which time services began.  Interment followed at Ivy Hill Cemetery.
