Aldwyn Gabriel Blackman was born in Trinidad on March 24th, 1935 to Leonard & Laura Blackman. He was the brother of Evol, Evelyn, Sybil, Oswald, Edris & Kelvin. He married Albertha and had 2 chil- dren, Anthony & Joanne.
His early life passion was riding. He became one of Trinidad and Tobago's top cyclists.
After he immigrated to the United States, he worked for the New York City Transit Authority as a mechanic until he retired after 28 years of service. Upon his retirement, he and his wife Albertha returned to Trinidad.
He was loved and respected by those he worked with and he returned often to the Depot upon receiving invitations.
He had a quiet easygoing personality, always willing to offer someone a helping hand or a kind word. He was a God fearing man who read the bible and believed that is was God's life manual for mankind.
Aldwyn is survived by his two children-Anthony Blackman & Joanne Blackman. He is also survived by his Grandson Miles, Sisters Evol & Edris and many other relatives and Friends.
