Alphonse Joseph Khoury

Alphonse Joseph Khoury, 76, of Laurel, MD passed away on October 15, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 4, 1938 in Lebanon to the late Joseph and Efrozia Khoury. He moved from Beirut to the United States over 30 years. He earned a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for General Electric and retired from Amtrak. Alphonse enjoyed gardening and Do-It-Yourself Projects at home. He was known as a welcoming man, someone would come in his home as a stranger, but would leave as family.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 26 years Elham Khoury; loving children Alain and Christian Khoury; and sister Anzar Matta. He was preceded in death by his brother Antoine Khoury.
