Althea Aileen Duston

Althea Aileen Duston, 93, of Burtonsville, MD died on January 10, 2012 at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney. She was born in Laurel on December 15, 1918 to the late Eugene and Frances Duffy. She was a homemaker and volunteered in the cafeteria at schools. She was also known as the neighborhood mom, who helped with other kids in carpooling.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Perry Duston. She is survived by her daughter Joan Dustin Bailey and her husband Gerald, and June Dustin Keibler and her husband Steve and son Douglas Alton Dustin and his late wife Merry Lou. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 10-11:30 am at DONALDSON FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, MD 20707. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to MGH Health Foundation, 18101 Prince Phillip Drive, Olney, MD 20832.
