Amanda Danielle Waters

Amanda “Mandy” Danielle Waters, age 41, passed away in Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Born October 11, 1980 in Takoma Park, MD, Daughter of Rick and Janet (Jenkins) Waters. Mandy grew up in Laurel, MD and had lived in Silver Spring, MD since 2003. She worked at Laurel Eye Physicians for 17 years as a receptionist, tech and billing manager where she built some very close relationships with her coworkers. Mandy was a master of sarcasm and her face could tell you what she was thinking without saying a word. She was extremely generous and would do anything for anybody.

After work she loved to come home, sit on the couch and read a book. Her favorite activities were attending the Maryland and Pennsylvania Renaissance Festivals, and Drag Shows with her sister and friends. She was a lover of all animals and a self-proclaimed crazy cat lady who loved a good margarita and Jason Momoa.

Mandy is survived by her father, Rick Waters and her sisters: Meghan Waters and Angie Ritchie. Mandy was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Lorraine Waters.

There will be no services held, please take a moment to celebrate Mandy’s life in your own way; may I suggest with a margarita!
