Andrew “Fred” Carlston Mickley, 62, of Catlettsburg, KY passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2017.
Born on March 30th, 1955 in Burlington, New Jersey, he was the son of Earl and Marie Mickley.
Andrew was a compassionate man who was regarded highly for his accountability. He was known for his delightful sense of humor, always telling jokes and making people laugh. He is remembered as an intelligent man that could always figure out how things worked. He was a jack of all trades and excelled at anything he put his mind to.
Andrew had a distinct passion for cars. He enjoyed maintaining vehicles, going to the race track, and discussing his ample knowledge with other car enthusiasts. He shared this love and interest with many members of his family, who he also loved to spend his time with.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sylvia Mickley, daughter’s Tonya Merson and Jamie Howard, step children Dana Hicks, Bruce Honeycutt and Susan Martz, sister Constance Poe, brother Jimmy Mickley, several grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends.
Services will be held on Sunday September 10, 2017 at 12:30 PM at Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel, 313 Talbott Ave, Laurel MD 20707.
