Anita Florence Jordan

February 18, 1925 — March 2, 2013

Anita Florence Jordan was born in Ware, Mass, on February 18, 1925, On October 10, 1953 she married her soul mate Clifford B. Jordan. They had two daughters during their nineteen years together. After Clifford died suddenly in September, 1972, Anita focused on raising her two daughters. Anita worked at the Johns Hopkins University/Applied Physics Laboratory for twenty-five years and retired in 1991. Her favorite place to be was Ocean City, Maryland. She loved the beach, the people and the crab legs! If Anita were here she would say that she has no regrets, honored with two beautiful daughters, Karen and Linda, six wonderful grand children; Scott, Christopher, Jason, Rebecca, Jesse and Collin, and two great grandchildren Lexie and Tyler that she felt privileged to live long enough to know and to be a part of their early lives. The family shared her 88th Birthday with her on February 17th and everyone felt blessed to share this special time together as a family. Although Anita is physically gone, her memory will stay with everyone who knew her.

With respect to Anita's love for the beach, the family is requesting donations instead of flowers be made so they can purchase a bench at Ocean City in her name
