Ann Catherine Alexander "Ma Catherine"

Ann Catherine Alexander, age 83, of Laurel, MD passed away on January 17, 2022.

Born on October 30, 1938 in St. Lucia. Daughter of the late Venice Z. Bernard. She worked as a seamstress for a tailoring company until she retired in 2004. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist. She was a devoted Christian who enjoyed participating in church activities and sharing her faith with others.

Ma Catherine, as she was known, was very generous and charitable. She liked to sew, cook, nursing people back to health and taking care of others. She also loved to read religious material like her Bible and writings by Ellen G. White.

Ma Catherine is survived by four children: Verlin Alexander, Claudia Martial, Shane Alexander and Maralyn Alexander; six grandchildren: Jason Alexis, Jeaninn Alexis, Catherine Martial, Louisa Martial, Samantha Alexander and Sabrina Dye; and brother, Lawrensin Emmanuel.
