Anne M. (Mcewen) Tarbox

Anne M. “Annie Mac” “Amen” Tarbox, age 83, of Laurel, MD passed away on February 11, 2021. She is a daughter of the late Robert James and Odessa McEwen. Anne is the beloved wife, of 63 years, to Joe Tarbox; loving mother to Ron Tarbox, Pam Bertrand and husband Bill, and Bobbie Tarbox; cherished grandmother to Steve Bertrand and wife Gabby, and Mike Bertrand, great grandmother to Jeremy, Steve Jr., and Lila; a loving aunt to niece Leslie Rogers and husband Carl, nephew Paul Jones and wife Joanne; and a beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and great aunt to so many in the McEwen family.

Anne was a woman with a huge heart and loved people. She had an open-door policy at her home that provided shelter when family or friends needed a place to stay, a meal or her motherly advice.  Anne also loved the beach, the family farm and all children! She loved being at the beach or farm with her family and friends.
