Anne Cooper Steggerda

On February 27, 2013, Anne Cooper Steggerda Of Clarksville, MD and Heathsville, VA died after a long battle with cancer. Anne graduated with an Education degree from Peabody College and was a Fulbright Scholar, studying at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. She taught French and Spanish in the Montgomery County School System for over 25 years. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles, her sister Dorris Taylor of Alexandria, VA, and her nieces and nephews and their families, Cyrus Taylor of Cleveland, Ohio, Lynn Taylor of Alexandria, VA, William Cooper of Phoenix, AZ and Cyndi McDaniel of McDonough, GA. .
The family will receive friends at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church , 12430 Scaggsville Road, Highland, Maryland 20777 on Monday from 12 - 1 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM with interment immediately following at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Arrangements by the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., Laurel, Md.
