Annette Christine Short

The spirit that was Annette Christine Short quietly passed early Sunday morning on 2 October of complications from Alzheimer’s Disease. Despite her illness, Annette’s sweet spirit remained present and strong, and we all loved her dearly.

Annette is survived by her husband of 36 years, Terry “Strider” Short of Burtonsville, her older son Zachary Short and her perfect granddaughter Natalie Short both of Summerville SC, and her younger son Logan Short of Burtonsville, her older sister Corrine Holmdahl and Corrine’s husband Glenn of Reisterstown, Maryland, and her younger brother Craig Swanson and Craig’s wife Paige, of Cumming, Georgia, niece Juliet Swanson, and nephews Patrick Holmdahl, Peter Swanson, Jonathan Swanson and Daniel Swanson.

Annette was a faithful Christian and member of the Grace Community Church of Fulton, Maryland. She was generous, quick to laugh, and loved to be with family.

We wanted to extend our thanks to the staff of Morningside House of Friendship for their care of Annette and their support to the family.
