Anthony Paul "Tony" Sprufero

March 9, 1924 — June 10, 2018

Laurel, MD

Anthony (Tony) Sprufero was one of five children born to Sicilian parents in Staten Island NY. He proudly served in WWII and spoke of it often. He became a Miami/Dade police officer and ultimately a US Federal Marshall.

Tony was married 3 times. He loved the ladies. He also loved a good poker game, a good plate of pasta and a nice glass of vino.

When Tony became sick and suffered from chronic back pain which caused him to become bed ridden he depended upon his longtime care giver Bosede Fatusin who provided proper care over the years.

Tony is preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother Sam who died a few years back and leaves his niece and cousin, Sarah and Jay.  Tony will be dearly missed by his extended family which includes Bose and her family, Charlie, Eddy, Kenny, and acquaintance.
